The best seafood restaurant. This is about 30 minutes South of Lisbon. If you go there, drive South West along the coast (Arrabida). It is stunningly beautiful. Kitchen opens at 19.30.

We were told this is the best Chinese restaurant in Portugal. It's VERY nice. I think the kitchen opens at 19.00
Just East and across the street is the Hotel Palacio. This is where spies from all sides were during World War II.
Around the corner ( Av. de Nice 54, 2765-192 Estoril, Portugal ) is a great place for breakfast or lunch called Pastelaria Garrett. They don't serve dinner. It is very well known. Fantastic food and a nice bakery.

This became one of our favorite restaurants. They have an awesome tuna steak. There's another fish on the menu that they serve with a lime risotto that is terrific too. Kitchen opens at 19.30.
Restaurant Mar do Inferno

Another good restaurant in the Cascais area. Is it near Boca do Inferno (The Devil's Mouth). The ocean waves smash against the rocks and it's quite cool, especially if the waves are a bit higher (5 meters or more). This was another favorite restaurant. Kitchen is open earlier than most.
Sintra is worth visiting. They say it's a magical place. It does get quite a few tourists but there are lots of castles and things to see. Definitely worth a trip. Madonna moved there last year.
