Go Solo did a short interview with me and I wanted to share it with you.
It's a series of questions about how I got started with Aeromir and questions about running a business.
One thing I forgot to talk about is how the word Aeromir came to be.
In the mid to late 1970s, my friends and I played Dungeons and Dragons.
I needed a name for my character.
I have always loved anything that flies.
- Birds
- Airplanes
- Rockets
- etc.
I wanted to have a name that was related to flying.
Aeronautical was a good start but too long.
I shorted aeronautical to “AERO” and added “MIR” to make it sounds more medieval to fit in with the Dungeons and Dragons theme.
My character was a Paladin, which is a holy knight, crusading in the name of good and order.
This is why the logo for Aeromir is a horse's head.
Now you know where the name and logo come from.
Here's the aricle Go Solo published from my interview
